A catch-all mailbox receives messages sent to non-existent email addresses under the very same domain name. For instance, an email message sent to the mistyped suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com if the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. Thus, you can receive messages from acquaintances or clients who may have sent a message to your email address with a typographical error or to an out-of-date one, which they may still have, but you have already deactivated. Just one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for such a mailbox. This is so because of the fact that at a certain moment you may start receiving spam email messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction means that the spam will not be sent to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

You’ll be able to create a catch-all mailbox without effort in case you have a cloud hosting account with us. The Email Manager tool in our in-house built Hepsia hosting Control Panel is feature-loaded, yet amazingly easy to use, and it will permit you to activate various options, including the catch-all one, with no more than a couple of clicks. All the mailboxes that you have will be shown alphabetically in this section and to the right of each one of them you’ll find a tiny "Catch-all" logo. Clicking it once will activate the feature, clicking on it once more will disable it. Since you can have only one such mailbox per domain, our system will alert you if you already have a different one with this feature enabled or if you have active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The custom-built Hepsia Control Panel that is included with every semi-dedicated server plan that we are offering will allow you to create a catch-all e-mailbox effortlessly even in case you do not have much email/web hosting experience. All it takes to do that is to click on the catch-all icon, which will be on the right-hand side of each email address that you have created using your domains in the Email Manager section of the Control Panel. Since you can have just one single mailbox with this feature per domain name, our system will warn you if you’ve already configured a different catch-all mailbox or if the one that you want to use has email forwarding enabled. If you decide that you do not need the feature any longer, you can deactivate it by clicking again on the same icon. The Email Manager section will also allow you to see your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
