Different from a shared Internet hosting account where the data is backed up by the hosting company, if you employ a virtual or a dedicated hosting server you'll need to keep manual backups as such a service is not supplied by default. As good as a web server might be, there is always a chance that something might go wrong. For example, you may delete some content accidentally or a script-driven app may get damaged after an update. In the event that you have a backup, you'll not need to worry about this sort of problems as the content could be easily restored. Since it may not be really handy to do this regularly on your end, we provide an optional backup service for all our hosting server solutions and we will store a copy of your content on an independent machine to ensure that it is undamaged no matter what. With the upgrade, you could work on your hosting server without needing to worry that you might lose any data due to any reason.

Weekly Backup in Dedicated Hosting

If you acquire one of our Linux dedicated servers hosting packages and you determine that you need a backup of your content, you may add this service with a number of mouse clicks and our system will start keeping copies each week straight away. You can obtain the upgrade alongside the web server or at some point later on through your billing Control Panel if you do not need backups from the start. The service shall give you fifty gigabytes of disk space on an independent server and this content can be restored on our end. Although we examine the equipment and the software before we hand over any new dedicated web server, you may never know if some update will not go wrong, so if you have critical information on the hosting server, you would be better off with this upgrade. Backups are also offered with the Managed Services upgrade, which includes many other useful administration tasks which we supply to our customers.
